Summer Solstice Youth Exchange Erasmus+

Summer Solstice Youth Exchange Erasmus+

In a world overwhelmed by a negative narrative of climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and global disparities, we can feel overwhelmed, disconnected and powerless. However, there is an hopeful alternative narrative that is gaining more strength everyday: that of regeneration. People who are restoring landscapes and reviving their communities together and inspire others to do the same. That is why we organise this exchange, to experience that alternative together.

So are you ready for a good boost of positive energy, creativity, sense of community and hope for the future? Then join us for the summersolstice youth exchange of Erasmus+ at Cal Tut in Catalonia!

Together we will reconnect to the rhythms of nature and experience community living. We will put our hands in the soil while we learn about soil fertility. About the healing power of (wild) plants, while foraging in the wild. About regenerative food while planting seeds…
And most of all we will live a nurturing group experience, learning from other cultures and life paths and creating an unforgettable experience together!

The main question of this exchange is: what can I do in my community and neighbourhood to contribute to a regenerative future?

Parts of the program will be co-created by the group and parts of the program will be facilitated by knowledge carriers of the village of Mieres. We start symbolically during summer solstice, June 21st, a time of light, abundance and new opportunities.

When: June 21-30 + travel days
Who: 16 participants from Catalunya, 16 participants from the Netherlands, ages 18-30
Note 3 march 2025: the application of this exchange is closed and the program is full.
